What first called you into this space?

The energy in the room immediately felt safe—charged with creativity and completely free of judgment. My very first pop-up class was the moment I knew Motion Collective was home.

How has this community impacted your life or growth this season?

The structure and discipline I’ve experienced this season have spilled over into other creative initiatives I’m actively involved in. Motion Collective has reignited dormant passions and helped bring long-held visions back to life.

What moment in class or rehearsal has meant the most to you?

Every class, I feel seen—intentionally and with care. The instructors at Motion Collective have an incredible ability to see the entire room. Dancers at every level, from beginner to professional, receive the same attention while being guided according to their individual skill sets. That level of awareness and respect is powerful.

What keeps you inspired to keep moving and showing up?

This community is about more than dance. It’s a holistic experience that liberates the whole person and brings creative purpose to the forefront. That depth is what keeps me committed and inspired.

What does Motion Collective mean to you in one sentence?

Motion Collective is technical excellence and creativity—community and safe space.

A Note on Wayde

A multidisciplinary creative at heart, Wayde moves through the world as a dancer, model, stylist, creative director, and Co-founder of Bully & Da Beast Athletics. Currently studying fashion design and business administration at Clark Atlanta University, he approaches movement and design with intention, understanding both as powerful tools for storytelling, identity, and self-expression. Above all, Wayde is a devoted husband and father. God and family his foundation, and dance is his lifeline, two forces that ground his creativity and fuel his purpose.
